An It Gets Better gay prom musical production extravaganza

Lady Gaga - #HairMusicVideo - It Gets Better (by cjboettcher)

In support of the It Gets Better Project, Colton James Boettcher’s artistic vision takes shape in the form of a music video interpretation of Lady Gaga’s song, Hair. Hair is about being yourself, being true to who you are; as the song exemplifies, “you are the spirit of your hair, it’s all the glory you bare”, YOU are your #hair.”As most of us know, growing up isn’t easy. Countless young people are faced with daily tormenting and bullying, causing them to feel isolated and alone. This is an especially harsh reality for LGBT kids and teens, who often hide their sexuality for fear of bullying. In many instances, gay and lesbian adolescents are taunted, sometimes even tortured, simply for being themselves.

My co-worker just released a new Lady Gaga Video for the It Gets Better project.

Just as I was beginning to think that the world was full of homophobic bullies, case in point here, I stumbled across this. That’s when I realized that there is hope and it’s thanks to the next generation. I can think of a few adults who could learn a lot from these kids.

Lady Gaga - Hair - It Gets Better

Hey guys! Have you ever heard of the It Gets Better Project? Well, my friend Colton, who goes to UW-Madison, produced/directed this video in support for the It Gets Better Project! My other friend, John, is one of the dancers in the video. This is amazing! You should all check it out because it’s quite a work of art and supports a great cause. I firmly believe that no one should ever feel ashamed, scared, or oppressed for being who they are. I’m so proud of them and so proud of the cause that it supports.
